Phalaenopsis amboinensis
Phalaenopsis amboinensis is a striking species with glossy 1.5" star-shaped flowers that have a creamy yellow background with heavy brown barring. They usually have 10-12" spikes with 5-6 long lasting fragrant flowers. This species has been widely used by breeders to produce many fragrant, awarded hybrids. Plant leafspan: 3-5" in 2.25" pots.
